Unique, prototype WWII German fighter-bomber developed near the end of WWII. It was an experimental tail-less design and the first flying wing to be powered by jet engines. One of Nazi Germany’s “wonder weapons”, the jet-powered flying wing demonstrated early characteristics of stealth technology to achieve a smaller radar cross-section than conventional attack aircraft. The project progressed no further than three prototypes built for testing.
