The Castle Creations Cobra 8 ESC has been designed dominating force supported by cutting-edge technology. With a 32-bit dual-core processor and featuring Cryo-Drive technology, this ESC is an excellent choice for 1/8 scale buggies, truggies, on-road vehicles, as well as 1/10 monster trucks weighing up to 9lbs. Boasting a waterproof design and an aluminum case, this ESC is ready for all weather performance.
32-Bit Processor
Using the state-of-the-art 32-bit processor, this ESC can allow for smoother power delivery. It also allows for faster data sampling rates to give users more points of data to make precise adjustments.
Cryo-Drive
Castle Creations Cryo-Drive uses advanced technology to ensure less heat buildup while maintaining peak performance. Cryo-Drive optimally controls what components are being used to control the motor. This is happening at thousands of times per second to reduce the rate the ESC can heat up.
Data Logging
The Cobra 8 ESC has many updates done to the data logging capabilities. The data is recorded at 8x the older generation ESCs with double the sample rate. With a built in accelerometer, this ESC allows for accurate acceleration data. A looping feature prevents interruptions in data recording. The data provided by the ESC allows you to make changes to your chassis based on reliable data.
1512 Brushless Motor
This epic combo includes a Castle Creations 1512 Brushless motor. Castle Creations 1512 1Y Sensored 4-Pole Brushless Motors combines rotor position sensor technology with improved high power and high efficiency motor design to deliver ultra smooth startup, precise low speed control, predictable power delivery, incredible torque, and lightning fast response. Through the use of Castle's Smart Sense technology, the position of the rotor is always known by the ESC. This eliminates the possibility of encountering cogging or inconsistency during startup, and allows the 1512 to deliver PRECISE throttle control and BUTTERY SMOOTH starts - with the RAW POWER and LONGER RUN TIMES that Castle motors are known for.
