Custom Works Outlaw 5 Sprint Car Kit
Custom Works OUTLAW 5 SPRINT CAR KIT This kit is designed for use on loose dirt style tracks that typically use 2.2 buggy styled rubber tires.
Note: Not all hardware is metric yet but many of the key components are now which include the front and rear suspension mounts. With this change the 3mm screws will use a larger 2mm or 5/64″ hex wrench which will make installation and removal of the screws much easier then with the 1/16″ wrench in the past.
Note: This chassis is just slightly offset from the standard Outlaw 4 chassis and is not fully offset. A fully offset version of the Outlaw 5 will be coming soon as a different kit.

Based off the Championship winning Outlaw 4 this new updated Outlaw 5 comes with several new race proven features that make it even better then its predecessor. Some of those new updated features include:

Outlaw 5
Not giving it a 5 star simply cuz it's only the 2nd RC car I've ever built. But wished it would've been my 1st! Very good instructions and packaging, blew me away it was so simple. Hving some issur=es with the body panels(hood & tail pcs.). According to pic on the hood I had to cut on each long side to let it fit between the roll cage and cutting out alot on the tailpiece too, nbd I guess just not quite like the pictures. Am missing a like 4 screws, but those replacements are on the way I believe? I built a Jack Paradigm by 5-7 Designs and if it wasn't for the Team Associated instructions that I had to pull off on line and print out it had nothing for instructions. They did help a lot via emails, was a struggle just because I had never done any of this before and I didn't want to make a mistake, kit was $369? I think? Anyway great experience I would've maybe liked a sheet that showed all the screws with pics giving actual sizes but that's just ciz Team Associated had one, like a key to a map. Just is nice at times, but I'm a newbie so maybe that explains all that? Great kit will get another! Thank you. Larry B.
