Product Description
The Dassault Mirage F.1 is a French, single-engine, multi-purpose fighter with a half-shell high wing structure, with wings equipped with slots and lapel pins with a classic tail tip. Mirage F.1 became the heir to the successful Mirage III / V series. The first prototype flew on December 23, 1966. He recorded a number of records - 2.12Ma at an altitude of 11,000 meters and 1,300 km / h at low flight altitudes. The Mirage F.1 required strips of 500 to 800 meters in length for the operation. The new plane had a similar size and lift surface as the Mirage III, but thanks to the use of integral tanks it took up 40% more fuel. The F.1 airplane was characterized by the minimum time necessary for take-off. This was possible by simplifying the operation and allowing the air transport of all necessary ground equipment. The recovery time between operations was 15 minutes. Thanks to the on-board power supply and high-pressure refueling system, the refueling time was only 6 minutes. The Thomson-CSF Cyrano IV radar had 80% greater range than the Cyrano II with MirageIII. When the pilot selected the target manually, the radar automatically followed him. Several main versions of the Mirage F.1 were produced, including F.1C, a classic fighter version, adapted to attack on land targets, introduced into use in 1969. The next version is the F.1B, used as a two-seat school machine (delivered since 1980). Also interesting was the Mirage F.1CT model, i.e. an attack aircraft, the prototype of which appeared in 1991. In total, about 770 copies of all versions were made. It was exported to many countries, including Iraq, South Africa, Greece, Spain and Morocco. Technical data (version F.1C): length: 15.23m, wingspan: 8.4m, height: 4.5m, maximum speed: 2.2Ma, climb speed: 213m / s, maximum range (with overhead tanks): 3300 km, maximum ceiling 2000 m, armament: fixed - two 30 mm DEFA 553 cannons, suspended - up to 4000 kg of cargo.
