JConcepts Magma Pre-Mounted 1/8 Buggy Tires are all-around performers for 1/8th drivers looking to conquer the toughest terrain while being incredibly stable at high-speeds. Available as a pre-mounted option, the tire is designed with extreme abuse and speed in-mind.
The Magma tire has giant horizontal tread which is bridge shaped and constructed for massive forward-bite. The tire carcass is built on race winning single contour geometry with inner radial ribs for expansion control. The low-profile design makes high-speed runs and turns possible and the race enhanced compound grips to just about any bashing or dirt surface imaginable. The tall tread provides a lot of life in multiple conditions and the detail in the tread with horizontal cuts, diagonal reliefs and outer receptors help the side-wall of the tire. Bold tire lettering on the inside and outside of the tire have a high-impact look and authenticity exclusive to JConcepts.
The pre-mounted Magma tire includes closed cell inserts inside the tire and glued to 83mm (JCO3395) Cheetah wheels. Using the included hardware, bolt-on either a 12mm or 17mm adaptor which suits the vehicle at hand and secure the hubs. The wrenching effort will pay off once all screws are attached and a durable wheel is assembled. Cheetah wheels are unique, and the driver can choose the spoke look of standard or spice it up with the included dish covers.
The dish cover options bolt to the wheel from the inside out giving a legendary salt flat look of 1:1 speedsters. JConcepts wheels are manufactured using advanced techniques to ensure trueness and durability and are branded with the small JC logo for brand identification and authenticity. The pre-mounted tires are designed for almost any 1/8th buggy vehicles but fit well to vehicles like Arrma Typhon, Mugen, Team Associated, TLR, Kyosho, and XRAY. The included 12mm adaptors will allow drivers to use the pre-mounts on many other vehicles like Slash and Stampede 4x4.

Great on Typhon 6s
Incredible grip with a lot of forward bite. I run them on both 4s and 6s on my Typhon. Check the glue job on both sides before you run them, I had one that was missing about 1/4 inch of glue. If you run 6s on a Typhon, you already know how it tends to destroy tires, but check your glue beads after every outing and glue them back down where needed. I have these Magmas as well as Proline Badlands, both usually need a little glue after about 4 or 5 battery packs, but other than that they are AWESOME!
