The RealFlight Flight Simulator Trainer Edition is a great tool for those wanting to learn to fly model aircraft. This trainer edition comes equipped with five different trainer aircraft and 1 trainer helicopter. To further add to the training, Virtual Flight Instructor lessons are used for first-time pilots. RealFlight Trainer Edition runs on a wide variety of PCs from laptops to desktops running Windows 7, 8 or 10. It is compatible with the Spektrum InterLink DX Simulator Controller (SPMRFTX1 - sold separately) that connects directly to a USB port for easy plug and play use. You can also use the WS2000 USB Dongle (SPMWS2000 - sold separately) with a compatible Spektrum 2.4GHz transmitter. Either way, you get an authentic experience unlike any other because you'll be able to use the same controls to "fly" on a desktop at home, or on a laptop.
This Steam download includes a code that can be used in the Steam store to download the software. One of the great reasons to start with this Trainer Edition is it allows you to upgrade to the full version of RealFlight at a later date, for a discounted price via Steam. The full version allows for more than 160 different aircraft and more than 40 flying sites allowing you to hone in the skills you learned using the trainer edition.
