The Ultimate RC Hauler is the largest TRX-6® model with an extra long 23.7" (603mm) wheelbase and oversize bed to haul your 4-Tec models in style. The highly detailed truck features deep gloss black paint over molded black chrome body accessories for an intimidating look to match its big rig attitude.
DETAILED BED AND LIGHTS
Adjustable wheel chocks with tie-down bands on the Ultimate Hauler’s tow bed accommodate any 4-Tec 2.0 or 3.0 model and keep precious cargo secure. A powerful and true-to-scale LED lighting system with 25 individual lights makes twilight adventures a reality.
TRX-6 CAPABILITY
Built on the supremely capable TRX-6 platform, the Ultimate RC Hauler uses six drive wheels to get into the action with trail-conquering grip of three remote-locking T-Lock™ differentials to get back out. A remote-shifting high-low range transmission amplifies the motor’s torque down low to move heavy loads while still providing ample cruising speed when unloaded.
Rigid Steel Frame
Designed exclusively for the TRX-4 Mercedes-Benz G 63 AMG 6x6, thick 1.5 mm steel frame rails are formed from one solid piece for maximum strength. Extra bracing and crossmembers provide exceptional torsional rigidity to resist chassis twist under load. Full inner fenders and accurately reproduced skidplates enhance the scale realism.
Ultimate Ground Clearance
Traxxas exclusive portal axles lift the truck at the wheels for huge ground clearance under the axles. In order to achieve the same clearance with straight axles (and not get stuck), your tires would have to be over an inch taller than the TRX-4's tires. Straddling boulders with ease, the TRX-4 chassis definitely takes the path less travelled and simply leaves all the others behind.
High/Low Range Transmission
When the going gets tough, shift into low range and all six wheels dig in for incredible torque. Shift into high range and the Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG 6x6 transforms the desert floor into an off-road racetrack with massive roosts and 6-wheel power slides.
Remote Locking Differentials
Traxxas scores another RC first with three transmitter-operated locking differentials. Leave the differentials unlocked to take advantage of the TRX-4’s tight turning radius, even with 6-wheel drive and the long wheelbase. Lock the front differential or lock both rear axles in tandem for extreme 6-wheel all-wheel-drive drive traction. Sleeved micro cables control the differential action for scale appearance.
GTS Aluminum Shocks
Six oil-filled coil-over GTS shocks deliver silky-smooth damping with threaded aluminum shock bodies for easy ride height adjustments. Specially calibrated rear springs allow full articulation of both rear axles independently for optimal traction on uneven surfaces.
2.2" Wheels
Unique 2.2” big rig-style wheels with hub ride on specially designed all-terrain tires. The sticky S1-compound 2.2" Canyon RT tires come pre-glued and mounted for rugged climbing action. A standard 12mm steel hex is used for compatibility with the full line of TRX-4 wheels and tires.
