The Yokomo RD1.0 "Rookie Drift" 1/10 2WD RWD Drift Car Kit is designed to be an easy way to build and learn RC drift chassis. Based on the YD-2Z chassis, this kit allows you to choose your own motor/ESC combo to best suit your driving surface and style. The adjustability enables you to refine the suspension to your needs. Get ready for some entry level sideways fun with the Yokomo RD1.0!
This chassis kit is built using double wishbone suspension that is supported by oil-filled dampers and drift-specific springs. The extreme steering angle allows for maximum control, even at deep drift angles. The 3-gear transmission aids in response and optimizes the weight balance. The motor plate can be mounted in multiple positions to change the center of gravity (CG). Using the YD-2 chassis allows for many option parts to be installed to enhance performance.

The steering angle, which is important in drifting, is overwhelming. Improved controllability even at deep drift angles.
Since you can select the mounting position of the motor from 13 levels, it is also possible to change the driving characteristics by changing the weight balance.
Chassis rigidity can be changed by rearranging the rear brace. Placing it on the lower side allows the motor to be mounted lower, promoting a lower center of gravity.
Two types of battery holders are included, so you can install a standard size battery, which is often used as a battery for RC cars, or a short size Li-PO battery, which is preferred by advanced users.
Equipped as standard with an oil damper that dampens oil by sealing oil inside the cylinder. Vehicle height can be easily adjusted by adjusting the spring tensioner.
3 gear transmission with good response. The sealed gearbox protects the gears from sand and pebbles that get kicked up while driving.
The gearbox is a 3-part type, and maintenance of the differential can be easily performed by removing the rear case cap.
